While on “X” last night, I noticed the following tweet. I thought, that’s great! In other words, I thought “that’s the shit.”
Brainstorming
I shared the list with a few family members. We bumped the list up to 33 expressions.
After sharing the preliminary list with friends on Facebook, my shitty friends doubled that list–see below. We didn’t provide definitions for what each of these expressions mean–I didn’t want to put that much work into this.
I’ve spent months–even years–writing stories for this website. When all is said and done, this shitty story will probably be viewed more than anything else.

The best minds I know–and that’s not saying much, combined to come up with 68 expressions related to the word shit. Who’d have thought this was such a versatile word? It was a great list. But the one we’d missed was the most obvious of all:
